Positive Progression is a non-profit organization founded in 1989. Founder Katy Mc Dowell is an RRW with over 18 years experience in helping families in crisis. Tony Norman is the founding Program Director who has over 30 years experience in the field of Addiction Treatment and is a Registered Addiction Specialist. Together they formed Positive Progression Treatment. We found many people who were relapsing needed a transitional place with less structure to be successful in their recovery. Since traditional treatment is 30 days, most addicts are not even fully detoxed and faced with a new, challenging future without drugs or alcohol and even family or friends. This transition is can be scary, lonely and difficult, and often leads to relapse.

Positive Progression is a unique, female-only environment dedicated to helping those recovering from the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. Our Mission is to provide the highest quality of affordable sober living to individuals who are in need and serious about recovery. We provide a faith-based recovery environment, and since we are also a licensed treatment center, we are able to provide a clinical, therapeutic component that most other sober living homes cannot.

We offer a comfortable and peaceful environment in a safe neighborhood. Our homes are clean and inviting, secure and alcohol/drug free. For women who are starting over we provide a nice, clean home and operate as a close knit family. We do not admit more than 6 residents which keeps outside distractions and pressures at a minimum. Ours is an adult program for ages 18 & up and offers minimal structure, thereby requiring accountability & continued self-discipline. • Retain treatment commitments

• Attend evening meetings Sunday through Thursday

• Willingness to honor the TLC Standards

• Minimum 30-day commitment

• MUST have at least 72 hours sober to move in

• A sincere desire to become an active, supportive member of the family

• 18 years or older

• Relapse is terms for immediate discharge and 72 hours of sobriety for any re-entry
